my daughter is 11 months old and shes gonna be 1 in 2 weeks and i'm not sure if itz normal for her to not be interested in crawling
is it normal for my daughter not to crawl?

my girls started crawling at 7 months, then didn't walk until 14 months. my cousins little boy is 6 wks older than my twins, and they were kind of concerned b/c my girls crawled before he ever started to try to crawl. Then he went beyond, he hardly ever crawled, he went straight to walking around 12-13 months old. I am sure your daughter is just focusing on figuring out how to walk, she will be fine!

my nephew was really slow.. he didn't crawl til he was 16months and didn't walk til he was just over 2... so i don't think there is anything to be concerned about...i guess what could help is if you could show her... but her in a crawlin position.... but as they say kids are quick learners.

I wouldn't worry about your daughter not crawling. I would just check her other milestones and see if she is keeping up with those. If you think she may be a little behind....I would just find out what she should be doing and work with her on it. Baby's are so quick to learn....she would just catch right up! No big deal. I am an occupational therapist.

My son started to do the army crawl on his belly at about 8 months old and then just started walking around one, he never learned to really crawl and the doctors told me that some kids never crawl they go right to walking so I am sure its fine but you might want to just mention it at her 1 year well check

My daughter, slid on her bum for 2 weeks and got up and walked some, kids dont crawl. If she isnt doing anything else i would take her to a doctor

no babies don't have to crawl first. some don't. like i said mine didn't. but ask your dr to make sure and they can set your mind at ease.

yah thats what i heard she'll walk when i hold her hands but i alwayz thought that babies had to crawl first

Have you asked your doctor about it. Some kids walk before they ever crawl.

yah she moves around alot itz just that she'll go to the crawling position and wont move her arms and legs like shes supposed 2 and she wont even scoot either

my daughter didn't crawl much either. she kinda scooted around and then one day at 10 months she took off walking! she's 3 now and never sits still. my niece and nephew didn't crawl either and they're both fine. does she move around good otherwise? if your concerned you can always bring it up at the dr. good luck!
