My son, Sebastian, was 3 in June and goes to nursery school. He is toilet trained but still wets himself if not reminded to go to the toilet. At home he only uses a potty as refuses to go on the toilet and he still wears nappies at night.
Should he still be doing this or is it time time make him a proper "big boy," and take away the potty full time and get rid of the nappies at night??

it's quite normal for kids to still wet the bed at around six. keep putting his nappies on at night until they have been dry for a few weeks. I wouldn't pressure him into giving up the potty, just set an eample by showing him how "big people" go to the toilet, maybe get him a special toddler toilet seat and step that he chooses.

I don't think there is a problem with them at night time. He will learn soon enough. My son did for a long time my daughter not so much. Try to take away fluids at least an hour before bed it seems to help. And good luck

night time is the hardest time for them. the urges that tell us when we need to pee are not as strong in children and it doesnt always make them wake up like adults do. eventually as that urge becomes stronger he will know he has to go and not sleep through it.
as for the potty seat..pick a holiday and have him "give" his potty as a "gift" to another baby who needs to learn how to use the potty! lol
