Is it ok to carry my 1 week old around in an Amy Coe sling and if so how long is too long?

He seems comfortable but I know being upright is harder on their lungs as small babies :)

Thanks ladies, I feel better now his head and neck are supported and he really likes it since he is a snuggly baby :)

Baby wearing is really beneficial to you and baby. Many women wear their babies till they are over a year and sometimes longer. I wouldn't worry about it unless your baby seems in distress or something.

Dr. Sears has great recommendations and help on baby wearing ... might be worth it to take a look into what he says.



My son I had him in a sling ALL the time, and as long as I was feeling good, and he was still breathing, nothing ever changed

as long as he's over 7lbs and his head is being supported.

if you're comfy, and he's comfy. and his head/neck are supported. then.... go for it. :)
