My daughter is 3 months old about and no matter how tired she is she will stay awak if you try and rock her to sleep but as soon as you lay her down she will fall asleep on her own is that good

Of course it is good that she can go to sleep on her own. Most mothers try to look for ways to get out of having to rock their baby every night.

Yes. All babies are different. It's not a requirement to rock them to sleep. If anything, it's great that she can get to sleep on her own.
