Hello young moms! : ) I am 21 and had my first baby (girl) November 2008, so I am a new mom! As far as strollers go, I have a snap and go and an umbrella stroller for when she is older. I am torn though whether or not I should buy a jogging stroller. I am thinking it wiill be nice to roller blade behind one, and more pleasant to take walks since it aborbs the bumps. Do any of you have a jog strollers? What are the pros and cons of a jog stroller? Have jog strollers helped anyone get back into shape again?

Newborn (under 12 m.o) and roller blade are too risky to combine with jogging stroller. Some say it's fine, but I'm sure that many people disagree with it. After all, it's for your LO's safety and development progress.

I had a jogging stroller from my 3 yr old, I find that they are more durable than the ones that you get that match your car seat. If you had the money and want to do activities such as roller blading I would say go ahead and get one. I was so impressed with it that I kept it for my now 5 month old. They are nice to have. Congratulations on your baby I hope that she remains healthy!
