We first met when I was 5 years old and he was 6 years old (This is strangely funny now that our daughter is about to turn 7 years old.).



We were both at the local community club making bird houses. He went to catholic school and I went to numerous public schools, so we didn't start dating until we met up again during my 11th and his 12th year of high school where we were both involved in orchestra.



We became high school sweet hearts at Duluth East High School in MN On October 6th, 1996. I went to both my, and his senior prom.



He then proposed to me when he came back from boot camp and was supposed to go to South Korea for a few hears. As a blessing in disguise, he was sent home with a medical discharge due to worsening of scoliosis.



We finally married on October 6th, 2001 at the church he grew up in, he went to school at, and his mother is a pre-school/kindergarten teachers aide. We held our reception in the same community club we met in as kids.



The craft table with everyone's name signed on it from when we were young was proudly displayed as our gift table where the wedding party (who mostly grew up in the same neighborhood) circled their names from when we were young and wrote next on it 'Bride', 'Groom', 'Maid of Honor', 'Best Man', etc.



This year we will be celebrating our 9th wedding anniversary + the 5 years we were engaged... and the day we met 23 years ago. We have been blessed, as we are only 30 years old and I am more in love with him every day.

Meet my boyfriend through his cousin when we were sophmores in high school. We talked and had great chemistry and fell in love. We have now been together 7 1/2 years and have 2 beautiful boys (4 and 2) and not we are making plans to get married. He is truly a blessing and I am so glad that I found him.

The very 1st time I met my husband was when I was in 5th grade and I remember my older brother being so excited bc his friend that he went to school with for a year or two that moved away was moving next door to our family. So of course the nosy little sister I was, so I went to introduce myself :) It was no love @ 1st sight but I can tell you guys I felt something deep inside but say neh whatever bc he was older and my brother friend on top of that and of course he only sees me as a friend. 4 years later when I was about 14 him and my friend started to date, which was cute for me cause I knew both of them. 2 years after that I started to go out with my brother other best friend but that only last about a year and around the same time my boyfriend dump me, his girlfriend of almost 3 years dumped him. While all those years going by we both liked each other A LOT and we both knew that but because of the person my parents raised I was never about to take someones boyfriend or try to hurt them by having them cheat on them with me, NEVER was I like that. So after we both got dumped we started talkin again and he ask my brother for permission to be my boyfriend and to date me. We both had so much going in our lives @ that time and we only dated for about 6 months and I decided to take a brake from our relationship bc I wasn't totally over my last boyfriend and I needed to be if I wanted to get serious with anybody else, it only took about 6 more months to find out I wasnt in love with my 1st love but to find out I was deeply in love with him for all these years of being close friends. We got back together and been together ever since. we got married a month after I turned 18. We have been together almost 10 years now and we have been married for 8 which will be 9 year in November and the same day our oldest child he will turn 8. :) Thats the story of how my husband and I became one not so much met ;)

I Had an arragned marriage, and met my husband though a very good friend at work who was determined to get me married. My husband worked with him at another job, and for the day my husband landed in Canada last January, our friend told him about me and he was asking to meet me, from january, to the last week of july I refused. Then I thot this guy wont go away maybe i should give it a try (I knew he was looking for a wife NOT a fling) and finally agreed, I met him on the last day of july 2009, he said everything was good on his side, he wanted to marry me (he told his BIL when i walked in the first time before we spoke, "write it down, I'm going to marry that girl"). And he was just waiting on me. I said i wanted him to meet my family and if they liked him I would consider it. He asked my family if he could marry me. Mom said they were fine it was up to me....then told me wait six months before i got engaged...The next day after, he asked me if i would marry him, i said the chances were good...so he told me he would come the next day with the ring...thot he was joking but he showed up after work and got on his knee. I said yes. We married Oct 17 2009, and I got prgenant on our wedding night :) expecting our first in june this year. It was pretty much Love at first sight...I couldnt have been luckier, He's a wonderful husband.

i worked next door to my husband. He worked in a clinic & me in a clothing store as a sales clerk. we used to eye each other but we were always to shy to speak. I got promoted to another store and left without meeting him :(

i then got another promotion back to that store, where after a year he asked for my number . We will be celebrating 6 years together April 15th, 2010. We got married last year 10 days after our 5th year anniversary together (April, 25th, 2009)

I met my fiancee through my ex boyfriend. I went to a staff party with my ex as friends and met my soon to be hubby there. Fell completely head over heels for him even though there is a huge age gap. Love is not a number obviously. Can't wait for our wedding day :) We've had a beautiful baby boy together and couldn't be happier!

my husband and i met when i was 6 and he was 8 in archery class. we were friends for a couple years but then our familys went their separate ways and we didn't see eachother again for 12 years. he told me the first night we went out that he wanted to get married and start a family. 6 months after that we were engaged and 6 weeks after that we were married. 15 minutes later we were pregnant :)

My best friend called me and told me that I had to come and meet this guy with really amazing eyes. We had a blast that night but neither of us were looking for anything serious so we agreed to just be beneficial friends until something better came along. I met my hubby at a club. I was working with a friend as a promoter and he offered to buy me a drink. I turned him down. Then he added me threw a site called XVI which no longer up. But it is a night life site (clubs and music) and we started talking on there. We were best friends for about 2 years. He was seeing this other girl that was treating him very badly. So one night, I had enough and I invited him over for dinner... him and I kept our relationship secret for 3 months. It was romantic. LOL

2 yrs later we got engaged and then we had Lilian and now it is almost been 3 yrs and we are getting married next summer! We have good times and bad and we work on everything one day at a time but I love him and I am grateful to have such an awesome man in my life

i met my boyfriend on a blind date!! ironic but true!!! My husband & I met while working together at Wal-mart... At first I thought his flirting was just a joke. After an argument with guy I had been seeing I called my now husband to talk since we were friends & one thing lead to another we ended up getting married 7mths after that night. I met my boyfrind thru my ex best friend. My girlfriend and i had been friends for about 4 yearsbefore i met matthew. I knew everyone in his family and i loved tem just as much as they loved me. one day his grandmother made a statement that her grandson matthew and i sould get together, that we would be good for each other. He lived in texas at the time and i was in michigan. A year went by and while at his mothers house (my best friends aunt) he called. some how we ended up talking on the phone and he gave me shit about my current boyfriend. Later that same yr he moved back to michigan. I was living with my friend and her mom at the time an he came over to help around the house and thats the first time we met. he called me later that week and asked me to got out to dinner and a movie with him. we dated like this for awhile. finally we moved in together and i got pregnant. Now we have 9 month old boy/girl twins and the rest is history. we have only been together for 2 1/2 years, but we have our happy family and love each other and thats all that really matters.

hi! i'm new at this....but i have an interesting story,so i wanna tell it!

i'm from Bosnia, and i met my husband (from UAE,Dubai) in Bosnia,Sarajevo in sept. 2004. i was a volunteer in a youth NGO,and had a seminar in a hotel for 10 days,where my then future husband was staying too. he was a boxer and was training for the competition. it was a love at first sight, belive it or not!! instant spark! we spent the next 10 days getting to now each other, talking a lot, and as time passed we really fell in love with each other!! ofcourse, he had to go back to his home, and i had to concentrate on my college,i was studying law, but we continued to talk on the phone every day!! it was a long distance relationship for about 3 years, he used to come 2-3 times a year to Bosnia, and sometimes we met somewhere, like we went for a vacation two times in Turky....and in april 2007.we got married, and now we have a son Fares who will be 2 on 25th of may. we now live in Dubai.

the first time I met my husband was on a 6th grade band trip- our schools happened to go to a theme park the same weekend. He followed me all over the park picking on me. I met him again later at a football game, this time I got him in trouble. He wasn't paying attention to the coach and was called into the game. Then again in our freshmen health class, again he annoyed me. It wasn't until our sophomore year I asked him to Sadies after his twin brother started dating my friend...and the rest is history together now 10years and 2 kids.

I met my fiance on Myyearbook a little over a year ago. We talked constantly, then we fell out of touch because he got back with one of his exes. He lived in New Jersey. I had a week set to go to a family vacation spot at a beach in Delaware a few months later. The day I got down to the beach he text me. Him & his son came down & spent most of my vacation together. Then I went back to New Jersey with him for 2 nights. After that we decided we definitely wanted to never be apart. So a week later, he moved to Pennsylvania with me :) Now we have our own place, a baby on the way, & we are getting married in May :)
