Hi there. I would just like to find out from other moms out there. My daughter is now 16 months and is very busy. She does not sit for 2 minutes. I am having a hard time to get that special bond with her, don't get me wrong, I love her to bits and she is the light in my day. She just doesn't want to give kisses, hugs or even sit with anybody.... Unlike my son 4 yrs who is very affectionate. Do you think this will change as she gets older ?

Thank you Sarah. I really hope so. My husband is not home much as we have a restaurant so doing 2 kidz on my own... sometime just feel like a slave driver. Try to control my emotions but I'm not a machine. Know i've got a lot of work for myself. Guess I just need the appreciation. You are deffinately right, when she does give me kisses I just hold onto them and lapp it all up.

Girls are no where near as affectionate as boys - this will always be the same - if your daughter is anything like mine she will only give hugs and kisses on her terms but those times are truely special!! i bet you find in a year or so (my daughter is now 3) she will want cuddles but ONLY from mummy and you will get them all and everyone else will feel left out!!!
