My husband and I have a boys name picked but are having trouble seeing eye to eye on a girls name...we don't want anything to popular but nothing weird either. Something soft and femine sounding...any ideas?

how about kaydence or you can even try my name if you want something orginal LaCrisha. but just to warn you, you won't find many ppl who can spell or say it. It's sounds just like Lucretia but it's a diffrent form.

My daughters name is Grace, we call her Gracie. and we were real close to making her first and middle name one name, its quite pretty. Gracelynn. but the only middle name we could come up with that was Ann, and that would have made her initials G.A.Y. and that wasnt gonna happen!! best of luck!! :)

did you both do the family name? that usuallly works. then try looking in the baby mames book and chosen one name a piece and playing around with the name.
then chose a mame and spell backwards that usually works too.

how about Kyra, its a good name and if you don't like this spelling there are several other ways to spell it. I don't remember them all right off hand, but there listed in the baby name books.

How about Kynslee? You can pair it with almost anything. Kynslee Jean was the name i picked if i was havin a girl but i had a little boy.. named jack!

My daughters name is Lyllie Addison. My husband and I decided if we had a girl we would use my initials L A and a boy would get his initials C D, this helped us to narrow the options to a much more manageable list!

We had the same problem, but one day it just come to me... and so we chose Carolina Morgan. In Spanish Carolina sounds so beautiful. Since then I have learned people ask North or South, and in the South its not Carolina its Caroline. But, I think its still a feminine and nice girls name. Good Luck!!

We had the same problem but the other way round girls names were easy but boys were a different kettle of fish.
We called our lttle girl Abigail (Abbie) for short it means Fathers joy.
we also loved Layla, ellie and sienna.. the only thing I can suggest is say the name out load in full with your sirname sometimes it sound different that way....
when we registered our baby girl last july mckenzie was the most popular name....

Just reading through I see Talia,Constance,Makenzie, & Madison are on here more then once.

Try looking at old fashioned girls names... this helped me in naming my daughter, Abigail Jean Rae and my daughter that is on the way, were naming her Winter Ann. A simple list I can give to you is: Anna, Ava, Hannah,Olivia,Esther,Grace, Emily, Emma,Mia, and Lily. Good luck and I am sure you will pick a great name. God Bless.

Ok let's see if I can help you any... I had a hard time thinking of a nice strong name for my daughter too. Some names that were on my list were Amelia, Emilia, Emily, Emma, Lorelei, Isabella, Elizabeth, Miley, Brooklynn, Adalyn, Mya, and Rayleigh. Middle names that I was thinking about were Rea, Marie, Grace, Jean, Kay, Maizi (pronounced may-zee), Rayne, Elise (also for a first name), and raynelle. Here are some middle names that sounds good with Maya (at least I think they do)... Maya Rosalie, Maya Annabelle, Maya Noelle, Maya Adelle, Maya Jadelyn, Maya Giselle or Maya Elise. Other girls names that I like are Bria, Gracie, Ryleigh, Natalia, Natalie, Halena, Giselle and Willow. I was going to name my daughter Adalyn Isabella, but decided to name her Adalyn Grace once she was born... I wish you all the luck in finding the perfect name for your little angel, and as others have said previously, the name you choose will be perfect for her, and you won't be able to see her with any other name. If none of the name listed in this forum is anything you are looking for, research on google, type in different things like classic girls names, trendy girls names, Unique girls name, girls names from the past, middle names for girls, etc, you will get tons of links to check out. Also, go to the social security baby names website at http://www.ssa.gov/OACT/babynames/ and look there, it will give you the most common names that have been used. Again, good luck!!!
