1. Macaroni and Cheese,
2 cups macaroni
2 table butter
1 tbl flour
¼ tsp dry mustard
Pinch of pepper
2 cups milk
½ lb cheddar cheese
4 tsp melted butter
¾ cup fresh bread crumbs
1 small onion (use about 4 tsp)
I think that there is salt, but I leave it out.
Boil the macaroni noodles as directed. Melt butter, add flour, mustard, onion, and pepper. Add milk stirring until it is warm. Grate ¾ of cheese directly into the milk. When done stir in with the noodles. Put slices of cheese on top. Melt 4tsp of butter and stir in bread crumbs. Sprinkle on top. Cook at 400 for 20 minutes.

If you buy a can of French's fried onions, it has a recipe for green bean casserole that everyone loves. Well everyone I have made it for has asked for the recipe. Plus it is REALLY easy and quick to make.

Here is a recipe that I found on the internet and my daughter LOVES it.
Easy Mexican Casserole Dish
1 pound lean ground beef
2 cups salsa
1 (16 ounce) can chili beans, drained
3 cups tortilla chips, crushed
2 cups sour cream
1 (2 ounce) can sliced black olives, drained
1/2 cup chopped green onion
1/2 cup chopped fresh tomato
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef until no longer pink. Stir in salsa, reduce heat, and simmer 20 minutes, or until liquid is absorbed. Stir in beans, and heat through.
Spray a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray. Spread crushed tortilla chips in dish, and then spoon beef mixture over chips. Spread sour cream over beef, and sprinkle olives, green onion, and tomato over the sour cream. Top with Cheddar cheese.
Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.

4 cups chicken broth
1 pound orzo pasta
3 tablespoons butter, plus more to grease the baking dish
1 onion, chopped
8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
1 cup Marsala wine
1/2 cup heavy cream
4 ounces shredded fontina cheese (about 1 cup)
4 ounces diced fresh mozzarella cheese (about 1 cup)
1 cup frozen peas, thawed
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan
1 teaspoon dried thyme
Directions
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Butter a 9 by 13-inch baking dish.
Bring the chicken broth to a boil over medium-high heat in a medium saucepan. Add the orzo and cook until almost tender, about 7 minutes. Pour the orzo and the broth into a large bowl. Set aside.
Meanwhile, melt the butter over medium heat in a medium skillet. Add the onions and saute until tender, about 3 minutes. Add the mushrooms and continue to saute until the mushrooms are beginning to turn golden around the edges, about 7 minutes. Add the Marsala. Scrape the brown bits off the bottom of the pan and cook until the Marsala has reduced by half, about 5 minutes. Add the mushroom mixture to the orzo in the large bowl. Add the cream, fontina, mozzarella, peas, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
In a small bowl combine the bread crumbs, Parmesan, and dried thyme. Sprinkle the bread crumb mixture on top of the pasta. Bake until golden, about 25 minutes.
i LOVE this recipie. i don't like wine, so i use more chicken broth and a little bit of sweet vermouth instead. to make it a main dish i add chicken to it. i also always half the recipe.
