My little boy is 11 months old now and meal times have become really difficult. He eats the first two bites and therafter simply refuses anymore. I have to sometimes trick him to get at least half of his food in his mouth. Sometimes even that doesnt work coz he just spits it ou again. What am i doin wrong?

Keep trying different food's. Maybe he just doesn't like the food you're feeding him. He's fine for now as long as he's getting baby milk.

Nothing! They just go through a phase my son is going through it now and everyone I talk to says that their kid did it.

No need to worry my daughter did the same thing, i just let her eat what she wanted and if she was hungry later on i would give her something else to eat like fruit or a tin of custard, i tried to make her sit and her tea but she would get to upset and i wouldn't get any where.

At least for the first year - 15mths ---- try looking at food as purely for fun, simply as a supplement to formula or the boobie! offer food in between milk feeds ---- and try not to stress too much!

Babies and young toddlers need much less food than we think. Two bites may not seem like a lot to you, but to him it's probably enough. Kids will not let themselves starve. If he's hungry he'll eat. I really wouldn't try to force it.
