if i was u i would go and get 1 of those new tests that says if preg or not and how far u are gone they are really good but it does sound like u are preg hope this helps

In my experience you are pregnant. I took a pregnancy test before I was even late it had a faint positive. Then, a few days later took another one. Same thing. The doctor took a urine test and it was negative, but the blood test showed I was pregnant. I was just very early in my pregnancy, two weeks actually. Now, I have a beautiful little boy! I was told by several doctors that it is very rare to come up with a false positive.

if it was positive its probably positive...you usually dont get two positive, even faint results from two different sources and end up not pregnant..you need to get a blood test..i would wait 3 more days take another test if no period and then go for a blood test..if the test in 3 days comes back even lightly positive but you can still see it..you are pregnant!

yes you are pregnant. it is just very very early. that is how the 6 tests i took with my second child ended up being. (i took 6 to make sure) i ended up being 4weeks the day i found out. if you want to make your self feel better with it then wait a few days or even a week and take it again, the line should be stronger this time around.

everyone keeps saying that you can't get a false positive but I had both false negatives and false positives. with my first 2 kids my test said that I wasn't pregnant but about 2 years after my 2nd kid I wasn't feeling to good so I took a test because I was not regular so missing periods meant nothing to me. that test came back positive. so I went to the dr a few days later and it turns out that I wasn't at all. no misscarraige either.

When I found out I was pregnant, it was a similar situation. I knew something was up when I got up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, that is something I just never do. It was actully the week before I was due for my period. I went to the store, got the test, took it and it was negative. I called the next day and got in the same day at the pregnancy center in my town and there test was positive but very faint. They told me it was so faint because I could not have been more than 3 weeks along. So you most likely are prego and congradulations!

absolutely! Congratulations! it doesn't matter how faint the line is, just that it is there. Remember that your urine concentration will make a difference as well as when you take the tests.

If you saw a line and it stayed then you are probably pregnant, congratulations. Take another one in a couple of days.

thts can happen i didnt know i was prego till i was 5 months along-sometimes test arent easy to read--dont worry.Give it one more month then text again also make sure ure using the test right.I took the texdt and the second line was faint os i dismissed it,dont,it best to be cautious, so dont drink nething with caffine or take meds, just in case u r, keep in touch with ure doctor.

I think you are pregnant because the line wont show up if your body is not releasing any of the pregnancy hormones.... but to be sure take that pregnancy test that actually tells you pregnant or NOT pregnant....

Different pregnancy test measures different levels of HCG (pregnancy horm). So if you got a early pregnancy test then they normally measures at 25 were as most of the doctors or digital are at 50. And Christina don't stress I know a couple of people were their levels started out low and they went on to have the baby! Good luck and will be praying for u!

i took two tests before i found out i was pregnant with my now four year old. both mine had very fine lines but wasnt sure a si have PCOS. didnt find out i aws pregnant til i was 9 weeks pregnant.

even if the positive line is faint it is still yes you are pregnant my line was faint for both times i found out i was pregnant. and sure enough at the doctors i was pregnant. but both times by the time i decided to actually admit i could be pregnant and take the test i was about 8-9 weeks along

Same thing happend to me, my doc told me that if that 2nd line comes up then its postive cuz there is obviously the hormone in the urine.

Same thing happened to me on two of my pregnancy test and then I went to the doctor and it was positive. I would say to just wait until the blood work comes back and see

Hopefully everything turns out. I know how the miscarry goes and with the line being faint it could just be low hormones and you may be earlier than you think meaning not as far as long as you might think you are in the pregnancy.

i actually had a similar experience. my obgyn assured me i was pregnant. that the over the counter tests, and even dollar store tests are so accurate and sensitive now a days that they are rarely wrong.

The same thing happened to me and the line was so faint I actually took 4 test! Then the next day went to the Dr. and they said your definatly pregnant I was just so early it was barly picking up the hormones. so CONGRATS Mama.

what did the blood test say? i took 4 home tests, all of which came up negative...within 2hrs of taking the blood test the dr had called with the positive results.
i am 1 who is very irregular so to miss for 3 or 4 mos at a time is nothing. what made me question pregnancy was the fact that i couldn't lay on my stomach.

Sheri, have you gone to the ER? they CAN NOT turn someone away who may be pregnant. If you are pregnant and there is something wrong with your child it will be on their backs because they refused to test to confirm pregnancy. Go to the ER and sit as long as you have to, to see a DR and get an exam and blood work done.

I am currently 2 months late, I keep peeing negative. They won't give me a blood test. They keep giving me the run around. I know where your coming from. Just keep yourself calm. Don't stress. There are times where we can get so stressed, that basically, our bodies have false pregnancies

when i first went to the hospital after passing out and hitting my head, they said my pregnancy test came back wonky and wanted to draw blood. my hormones were right at the border and they couldn't say either way. so the next day i went to my doc and redid the urine and blood work. my urine came back the same way and they called me on sunday (mother's day actually) and told me my hormones were in the thousands and i was preggers. all throughout my pregnancy i tried to get a stick to say positive so i could keep it, but i never could. some women just don't produce enough hormones in their urine. wait to see what the doc says and if she isn't sure or says it's negative, have her re run it in a couple of days.

Faint or not, if the line is there you are pregnant. With my son i had to take 3 tests and with the 3rd one it was very very faint and had to get blood work every other day until my HCG levels were where they should have been. With my daughter(second child) The test was done and i looked at my husband, who was anxious to see a positive, and told him i hated to disappoint him that it was negative and by the time i looked back down the test was now positive again with a faint line.
I guess if you are really unsure you can wait for the blood work to come back but all signs so far say yes to me. HOWEVER, When our daughter was 2 months old i was 3 days late and took a test and it was positive. Took another test the next morning just to be sure and it was positive. Took another one 3 days later because i was getting bad cramps and it was negative. I lost it 2 weeks after the first positive test, i was about 8 weeks.

I took my test four days before my missed period. I just didn't feel right. And it was positive. So, I took another one, different brand just to verify it was right!

when I got pregnant the first time I was told there aren't false positives, it is almost impossible to have a false positive. There are a couple things that can cause it but the doctors would know if that applied to you so I say Congratulations!

I would say that you are. I waited until 2 weeks after my missed period before I took a test and it was very positive lol. It's probably faint because you just missed your period.

i don't know if this has been asked yet but did you do your pregnancy test right when you woke up? That will give you a darker more definite line. Your urine is more concentrated when you wake up (obviously since you don't urinate as much when sleeping). Try doing a pregnancy test then and see how dark it is :-)

You are definitely pregnant. The first time I took a test the line was faint. So goofy me I got about two more tests because I couldnt believe it although I knew somehow. Anyway, I would take them in the morning and sure enough the line got darker. But of course I had to make sure and took one to my husband who was asleep and made him verify. lol :)

I found out i am pregnant but the levels are so low , they think i will miscarry . so i guess sometimes faint line is because you have little hormone , so i hope it all works out ok , but its in gods hands right now .

with current home pregnancy tests available from the shops they are as my dr said " as if not more efficient than ours" it is highly unlikely to get a false positive, so I would say congratulations!!

You're pregnant.
Even a faint line means that you have conceived.
Not only from one faint result, you also have another confirmed positive.

My first pregnancy test at the doctors came back negative but my HCG was elevated a little. He thought that if I was pregnant, it would probably be the first week of pregnancy. The following week, I had another test with another doctor and it came back positive and the HCG level had quadrupled. When I had an ultrasound that day to make sure it wasn't an ectopic pregnancy, they said I was about 9 weeks along. So I would suggest you wait a couple more days and take it again. You could be pregnant if the HCG levels are above 5

I took a home pregnancy test, and it was positive with a very faint line. I went to the doctors and their test also came back with a faint positive, the doctor said I was pregnant it was just very early and the hormone level just wasn't as strong yet. My son will be one next month, sounds like you are. Good Luck

my first pregnancy was a miscarriage. i did a few home tests. i got my period a week late. i had a urine test at a clinic and it was faint. they did 2. i went to the hospital for blood tests and they told me i miscarried as soon as i got pregnant. it was devistating but not long after i got pregnant with my daughter.

Pregnancy tests will only give you a false negative ( meaning your pregnant but it shows up that your not) they cant give you a false positive ( meaning it says your pregnant but your not)... So im sure your pregnant!

when i took a pregnancy test, i went straight ot the dr's it came up super bright clear, but that doesnt mean anything, as my friends came u negative in both places (home and dr's) she only knew she was pregnant when they did a blood test..
