My daughter had these mole/pimple looking bumps all over her and i took her to the dermatologist and he said she has molescum, which is a viral wart.... she has the bumps all over her pretty little face... well they were freezing them off then we tried creams and now he doesnt want to treat them any more and they keep coming back and im worried she wont be able to go to school b.c there contagious is touched. Im just wondering if anyone knows of a home remedy to get rid of molescum. please help

I see this post is two years old, but I'd like to share my home remedy. Soak in salt water. Dab with rubbing alcohol and tea tree oil. Cover with crazy glue. Cleaned them up in a few weeks.

Both my kids had molluscum! It can take any where from 6 months to a 6 years to get rid of them! Friggin shitty huh! They cannot be kicked outta school for it trust me I know had this problem. The doctor should have NEVER touched them the more you mess with them the more they come back and the more of them that come back. Not reallt any ways to get rid of the damn things just make sure EVERYONE washes their hand as much as possible! Make sure they are on a vitamin and make them aware not to EVER touch them and then other ppl. Your little ones scratching them will cause spread to others and to themsselfs and more of them. You can try selsinblue (shampoo isel) just dab it on like a cream leave it alone. My son had his for 2 and 1/2 years and my daughter for a year. Write me up if I can tell you more about it or have any q's
