Hi! I am here to help anyone who needs tips and advice about travelling with their families. If you're the type of mom that loves outdoor fun with your kids, or just having a vacation for the next couple of days, weeks, months, you are in the right place to post you questions about travelling with baby/kids. May it be what to bring, where to go, what to do, what to avoid, immunizations, health, etc. etc. Don't hesitate! I'm encouraging moms also, if you have something good to advice, feel free to post it and help another mom.

Hey Beatrice! I know, sometimes it gets stressing and annoying when your little one gets really "touchy" at things especially when you're on public utilities and places.
Toddlers will have more complex needs for entertainment. They are curious and mobile. A favorite toy, such as a stuffed animal or doll, will help provide comfort and security in unfamiliar places, but the child will need things to occupy his rapidly developing mind.
Picture books and standard board books, especially ones with pop-ups and fuzzy things to touch, are a nice, quiet way of keeping a toddler occupied—but only for a little while.

Here are few suggestions for entertaining your little one inside the plane:
* Purchase a new toy or two just before you leave, and present it to the child during the voyage.
* Do a magazine scavenger hunt—ask the child to locate objects, animals, or people in pictures. You can bring your own or use the in-flight magazine (finally a use for those magazines you can appreciate).
* Make a puppet out of a brown paper lunch bag (or use the bag in the airlines seatback pocket).
* Post-It notes of different sizes are fun for children to peel, color on, and post.
* Bring an erasable doodle pad that has an attached pen and can be erased
* Interactive books come with special furry mitts designed for tickling as you read.
* Any game that involves sorting by colors or shapes (e.g. put all of the red paper clips in this envelope and the blue ones in this envelope).

These will keep your angel busy. :)

Hi! me, my husband, and my son are going on a trip 2 weeks from now. My baby boy is really noisy inside the plane.. He would touch everything, and would cry if he doesn't get what he wants. Is there anything you can suggest that is effective to keep him occupied?
