This is one reason why city and school boards need to make sure everyone who transports any human being, whether child or adult, young and fit or disabled, is given a set code of what to do if something is wrong.
Please, mothers, watch this video and have a talk with your childs scool district transportation manager about how to keep your kids safe and coming home to the right place.

This would make me so mad and does just by reading it... unfortanate my butt. its not unfortanate when someone knowingly kicks a 6 yr old off a bus a car etc. that is neglect. when i child goes to school it is the parents and the schools responsability.( depending on the issue) and by all means the neglect would be on the school... yes he made a mistake but everyone does especially a 6 yr old

This isn't about the bus but my son walked in the boys bathroom at school and saw a little girl going down on a little boy. And yes I mean sexually. They told my little boy it was a game and it was their fun time and that he should try it. Imagine my suprise when I find him trying it.

My daughter just started kindergarten this year and I was nervous about letting her take the bus, but I thought it was important that she start to become used to taking the bus since I may have to rely on it more in the furture so right now she rides the bus to school 3 days a week but gets picked up from school every day since I don't feel confident enough to let her ride the bus home yet. My cousin's little boy goes to the same school as my daughter and they once accidentally let him off at the wrong stop but luckily the bus driver realized it right away and got him back on the bus but even so I'm glad that I have the option to wait until she's a little older to let her take the bus back home.

@nikkole Garn are you really serious? He knew what bus he should have been on, he is 6 years old!!!!!That bus driver should atleast be fired if not charged with child endangerment!!!!!

What scares me the most is what would have happened if it wasn't that construction worker who found him... what if it was some whack job or a pedo? It's awful this is one reason I will be dropping my child off at the class room and picking him up at the end of the day

1st day of school this year.julia`s (6 years old) 1st ride home on the school bus...teacher put her on the wrong bus (bus number 20 was wrote on her hand) (teacher read 17) and she was put off at an unknown place.she was lost for about 45 min`s until some unknown man picked her up onside the road and returned her too school. the school was very lucky that my boyfriend was at work at the time. Later he had a few words with them, but the school didn`t get it...said it was nothing. But still for all later that week i went to their meetings and all they talked about was what other schools did wrong or bad. So away my boyfriend goes back to school again.

I hope that bus driver gets fired......Maybe that school should handle the bus routes and transportation like my daughters school does. In kindergarten and 1st grade the teachers walk the students to their busses and put them on the bus themselves. plus the kids wear tags around their necks that have their names, addresses, and bus routes on them......I'm just glad that he got home safe and nothing bad happened

Thats ridiculous. What is wrong with people? I just dont understand what goes on in people's minds. I'm at least happy he made it home but that should have never happened.

I've heard so many terrible stories about little kids getting lost here and there by school buses, it's ridiculous, when I was in kindergarten and first grades, the bus drivers were aware of what was happening, especially during that first couple weeks. What the hell is with schools these days? Seriously, you really expect a 6 year old to know where their supposed to go? Get it together!

Mariah I went to a private school and a little boy got hit by a bus and broke his hip (before the buses had the arm that swings out so children don't walk to close the to front of the but and the drivers can then see them). Bad things happen in every school private or public. Unfortunatly there is no perfect system for our kids. My son just started kindergarten and the bus driver forgot to pick him up the first day, there will always be bad transportation stories...

This is one of the reasons I dread sending my daughter to public school. Then again when I was in 2nd grade, one of my friends was hit and killed by a school bus. The driver was speeding down a dead end street, drunk, and had no reason to be driving a school bus as it was 6pm.

Thats scary. When I was in Elem. School I did that to, but Thankfully my bus driver took the time and Brought me home where I belonged. I do not see how any human can think it's ok to do that to any child. I hope that driver lost their job. The childs safety is #1 Importance.
