i think i might have lost my mucus plug except i read its a bloddy show but mine looks green snot like. i was wondering if it really is my mucus plug or just extra vagina discharge

I lost mine over a span of a few days in pieces and it looked a lot like snot. I went into labor at the end of those two days. I too was 1.5 cm dialated and effaced. I was 38 weeks when I went into labor.

When i lost my mucus plug it looked like a lot of clear mucus, that was at about 38 weeks, but bc of the position of my baby i did not go into labor on my own, i had to be induced.

Once I lost mine it was another 2 weeks before I went into labor. And I actually had my daughter on her due date.

most likely it could be a piece of your mucas plug, if you are close to being term. even if it is though, it could still be weeks before you go into active labor.
