My 2 year old is so defiant! I need help bad!!!

My 2 year old will not listen to me, her mother. She will only listen to men. She throws her food, screams at the top of her lungs for the heck of it or when she can't have something. I tell her no in a stern voice but does not listen to me at all. I don't like screaming back but it gets so frustrating. My husband taps her hand to get her to stop and she does, but doesn't stop with me. Please help me with her. I don't know what to do anymore!! Suggestions or advice?

The best thing that you can do imo is offer choices. When she is doing something that you don't want her doing then offer her a couple of choices that are ok. We have a 3.5 year old and this works really well with him. The most important thing is to try not to get frustrated; it will only make matters worse. Good luck!
