Have lots of burp clothes or tissues handy for all the drool! I keep trying to figure out how I can hang a bucket under my son's chin! Just kidding (sort of!)

My son got his 1st tooth when he was 5 mos. If your child takes a pacifier you can freeze it. A damp cloth frozen also. They also make this ring with a net on it. For the life of me I cant think of what its called. Babies r us or the grocery store has it. And you could put ice in it & let the baby suck on it. Good Luck

This worked for me with all 3 of my children a cold damp wash cloth to chew on as well as a vibrating teething toy that was small enough for their hands to hold they have them at walmart

This is what worked with mine : Cold damp wash cloth to chew on (teething rings are pretty useless at this age) orajel, or the like, if it's interrupting sleep and tylenol if he/she has a fever. =) If he's not too fussy though let him/her be. Some babies do teeth with little problems, other than the drool. lol!
