Yes and it continues even as they get older. I have a 5 yr old boy who eats alot, esp during a growth spurt, which seems like an almost every day thing. He can eat breakfast at 8 and by 9-930 hes ready to eat again.

Yes, it is absolutely normal. Babies go through a growth spurt at 3 weeks old and 3 months old, where they want to eat constantly.

Very normal! I went through the exact same with our daughter! She is now 15 months old and continues to have a very healthy appetite!! xx

Yes this is normal, nurse on demand. The stronger the sucking reflex gets then you will notice a little bit of a spacing in between you feedings.

Newborns eat every 1 1/2 to 3 hours. Expect this to get more manageable around 6-8 weeks.

My son ate all the time and the doc said it was normal, but as they get older they will not have to eat so often

Yes, my son did that to sometimes every hour, he is now 6 weeks and during the day eats every 2-4 hours but at night he can go 4-5.
Good luck & congratulations.

Yes! Newborn babies need to eat every 2 to 3 hours. Gradually they will start going a little longer between feedings at night, but may keep eating every 2 hours during the day for many months! Just watch your baby's hunger cues, feed him when he's hungry, and don't worry about what's normal because every baby is different.
