I was sittin on the computer talking to my mom when rosie put my thumb in her mouth and she started chewing on it with her gums so i was just wondering if that was a sign of teething.

It can be a sign of teething, or it can be nothing at all. Don't read too much into it just yet. Babies can teeth as early as three months (not commonly though) or as late as ten or eleven months...
My baby has been chewing on EVERYTHING and "gumming" anyone and anybody she can reach since she was two months old. She drools all the time, and is cranky at night only. All of these are supposed signs of teething. It's been four months since then, and absolutely no teeth yet! Even though Rosie may not be teething yet, babies explore and taste things with their mouth, so it is not abnormal for her to suck on whatever she can find!
If she sucks on your hand, rub her gums! She will like it whether she is teething or not! And if she is teething, good luck! Keep Hylands teething tablets, and Motrin readily available! :)

Yes I believe that is a sign.. On top of signs such as drool and her being fussy

Could be either that, or she is hungry. Some babies start teething early. My Brother in law's sister has a 5 month old baby boy, and he just broke in his first tooth about 2 weeks ago! It's crazy how early some babies can teeth.
