Sore abdomen 3 months after C Section

i have a third c-section on may still its pain me. i am feeeling weakness a lot

I had a c-section and at 3 months I was completely healed. I was numb in spots and some movements hurt but only for a few minutes. I would go see a doctor! You will always be mumb and some spots will be tender for a minute or two but you should not be in pain

If this is your first c-section then it is going to hurt for a long time. Mine started to ease about 6 months after but was tender when pushed on.

i also had a c section due to baby being breech 10 weeks ago and the soreness is only starting to fade now, the scar still feels strange and tingly and in some spots numb but certainly not painful, have you talked to your doctor or public health nurse about this?

A friend of mine had a sore abdomen after her c section. Turns out she had an infection. She waited so long to go to the doctor that her incision burst open and she was hospitalized for awhile. See a doctor ASAP!!

sometimes i feel tender at my scar and its been almost 9 months ago.

I had two c-sections and I remember hurting for almost 2 weeks and then just sharp pains every now and then for a few weeks after that, but you may have some type of internal infection if you have a sore abdomen 3 months after a c section. I had one after my first c-section that a quick trip to the gynocologist and an antibiotic fixed. But I was warned to not lift very much at all, so I'd go to the doc to be on the safe side.

Hi, I had a c-section with my son last January 2007. It's normal that you still have a sore abdomen 3 months after your c section, that's what happened to me, the wound is still fresh, it may seem to be healing from the outside but the inside is still tender and fresh. If you feel the pain, just try to sit down, relax, and take a deep breathe 5 times it may lessen the pain, but nonetheless, it is normal, because for me, i still have the pain especially if its very cold weather.

lol i still am numb from my belly botton down my son is 16m i got an infection and wasnt right for about 9m after if your concerned see a doc you can get leisions inside where you have you scar NOTHING MAJOR about 30% of women do after a csection and the percentage is higher for repeats u might need an ultrasound to see your doc can decide if you need one since you still have a sore abdomen 3 months after your c section.

i had a c-section with my daughter she's almost 2 yrs and mine is still tender at times. But if it is really painful have it checked out by your doctor as you may have an infection or something! I got an infection with mine very painful felt like i'd been hit by a truck, but being my first i just ignored the pain cause i thought it was normal. Well i left it too long was back in hospital for another week...... so my advice is go to your doctor and have it looked at if you still have a sore abdomen 3 months after your c section! define touch. I had a c-section 3 months ago and it hurts when I strain and it's some times sore. I can touch my scar without pain, but a sudden movement, pants worn the wrong way or UGH my daughter kicking me can hurt a lot! my doc said it's normal, but if "to the touch" means just on the skin I'd get it checked out soon. good luck!

It's been almost 5 months since mine and it hurts now and then nothing serious though. And my mother had 3 c-sections and she told me after over 20 years it still hurts and will be numb FOREVER which I cannot stand. But if it hurts to touch it that doesn't seem right...I healed very quickly and was able to be out of bed very fast. I think everyone is different.

i had my daughter via csection 13 months ago..and I remember clearly..it hurts for MONTHS after..just like you said..certain spots...and even today, if i lean against my kitchen counter it STILL doesn't feel perfect..BUT it is normal...

hey! I would probably go see your doctor, everyone is different to recover but a sore abdomen 3 months after c section shouldn't be happening. maybe a little when lifting and stuff but not to touch! good luck.

HI. I HAVE HAD 2 C- SECTIONS. BOTH SCARS HEALED PRETTY WELL. I DIDNT HAVE ANY PAIN AFTER ABOUT A WEEK BEING OUT THE HOSPITAL. I WAS BLESSED!!! BUT I DO HAVE SHARP PAINS EVERY NOW AND THEN WITH SUDDEN MOVEMENT THAT REQUIRE THE USE OF MY LOWER ABDOMEN. THE DOCTOR SAID I WILL PROBABLY NEVER COMPLETE HEAL. PRAYERFULLY I WILL. U SHOULD GET THAT CHECKED OUT TO MAKE SURE ITS NOT TOO SERIOUS. I HOPE THIS INFO HELPED U A LITTLE.
