My two month old has not had a poopy diaper in three days. My husband says not to worry and we don't need to call the doctor but I am concerned. Is this normal?

It is totally normal. As long as your baby has no signs of pain and is still having wet diapers. My daughter would go 7-9 days between poopie diapers.

Give just a little bit of Kayro syrup mixed with an ounce of water that should help. I have four kids and have gone through it all from not pooping to RSV to ear infections my doctor asks me what she needs to prescribe if I take them in.

My son went a week without pooping when he was little. When he did, though... it went all up his onesie, down his pants, and covered my clothes (bra, panties, shirt, pants... everything but my socks)! Talk to your child's doctor. He may tell you something you can try to help him get it out.

my son had that when he was just a month old doc said it was fine and if he was fussy to drizzle dark carol syrup in his next bottle like you were to make choc milk.....let me tell you it works great but have the diapers and wipes ready in like 10 min!

Use miralax...my son was on soy formula and the miralax helped him go everyday. My doctor said that was ok but I would definitely call your pediatrician and let them know.

Mine did the same thing when she was even younger than yours. We went to the doctor to be sure there wasn't any obstruction that was causing her not to poop. They wanted us to use miralax in her bottle once a day. We tried that for a while but as soon as she turned 8 weeks old, we started her on peaches and we have yet to have that problem again.

Is the baby on formula? If so the doctor might have to change the formula because if the baby is getting to much iron from the formula it will cause constipation. Hope this helped. My oldest child had to be put on soy formula because of her iron level.

Do you breastfeed or use formula? And yes its normal I remember the first time that happened to me, my son was like clock work then one day he stopped pooping everyday. The doctor told me it was normal for them to go 7 to 14 days without a BM I think 14 days is a little long myself tho. I say give it a few more days but if you feel you need to see the doctor theres no harm in getting the advice from a doctor they may tell you to give your baby some juice.

it's normal. Is he breastfed or on formula? Breastfed babies tend to not poop as much as formula babies so it is common for them to goes days with out. Let your docotor know but I would not worry. You'll be able to tell if he is consipated or if it bothers him if he becomes more fussy.
