now - just take it as them playing for the moment - they will still be hungry afterwards. It also takes ages - lunch for my 9 month old takes about an hour but he does it all himself and will eat everything (especially likes curry, salami and melon!!!)

My little girl is nearly 8 months, and i started her on some finger foods at 6 1/2 months. you can buy some baby crisps that dissolve in the mouth, but watch out as they stick to everything, their very messy.

My son is 7 months old and I've already started finger foods. Try the Zwiback Toast, or Wagon Wheels. Any of the little puffs or snack things in the baby aisle at Walmart work for my son.

My baby is 7month and 3 weeks. I have alreadsy started her on some finger foods. Go to the website: babycenter and type in finger foods and solid foods. They come up with great tips, examples, everything! It has helped me a lot!
