My son was already 8 kgs at 4 months old and he's perfectly proportional and healthy looking. I wouldn't worry too much, some babies just grow really quickly.

So? As long as she isn't skin and bone, it doesn't matter what she looks like. 9 kg is ok for a nine month old. If she's long (tall) for 9 months, that would be why she doesn't look chunky. Not all babies are chubby. =)
