I don't really think that it is something to worry about. Many babies will wake up for night time feedings until they are over a year old. Its just how babies are. If he seems to be waking up a lot you could try co-sleeping for a while and see if that helps you.

when i was breastfeeding i found my baby very unsettled so i changed to formula and ever since then she has been sleeping through the night... she is now 5 months and sleeps a full 12 hours, also you should try a nice body massage for them i find it helps relaxing them just before bed..... and also another this is put a little bit of lavender oil on his sheet above his head not too much or not on them just enough to breath i will honestly say it works i reccomend you atleast try it.. goodluck

Hello,

We went through kind of the same problem with our son when he was that age. I felt so lost and at my wits end I called the public health nurse to ask her why my baby wasn't sleeping. Her recommendation was that I try increasing the amount of solid foods he was getting throughout the day. At the time he was still getting milk as his main food source snacking on solids, but needed to be having more food with his bottle as extra. So I increased his solids and also started with a little bedtime snack. It was like night and day the difference in him. He went from being up 3-5 times a night to maybe getting up once. Now he is 14 months old and has goes to bed at 730pm and wakes up between 730-800am. His schedule has been this way for months now.

Hopefully you find some kind of resolution to your little problem, good luck!!

We have a set schedule we use at night with our 1 year old that seems to help. I feed our son some solid food, give him a warm bath with some lavender scented baby bath and then it's pajamas and a bottle. Usually milk but sometimes it's juice. He gets his favorite toy, I turn the lights off and turn some music on. You don't need to leave music on all night, just something that will play for 5 or 10 minutes. I also have a humidifier in his room and that helps a lot, not only with white noise but the moist air helps him sleep better. I usually close the door and turn the radio or tv on in the other room. He hears noise outside his door and knows I am close by, even if I'm not in the other room. It took a week or two to get him used to this when he was younger, but he looks forward to this every night. It takes a bit of time, but once he is on a set schedule at night, things will be easier. He might still wake up in the night once in a while but that is something that can be lived with!

Are you breast feeding? My middle daughter didnt sleep through the night until she was over a year because I still nursed her once a night. Either way I would just try giving him a little bit more at his bed time along with make sure he has a good sleep environment: dark, quiet or some white noise, clean diaper, comfortable clothes, etc. I hope this was helpful. Any more questions just ask. I have three so I have seen quite a lot. Good luck!
