my daughter is two and a half and still does it. i think some of it deals with having a wet diaper. i converted her crib into the next step to where she can get in and out on her own. it helped cuz she can come get me when shes wet and started to try to potty train but thats not working out to well

I agree with the mom's that say potty train.
My daughter was doing the same thing and I bought her some panties and she used the potty without me telling her too. We did the "potty dance" and she was GLAD.

My daughter did the same at that age and sometimes still does at three. I tried potty training at that age and it didn't work..But it's no reason not to try, mine just wasn't all the way ready. No matter how hard i tried and wanted it so much it still wouldn't happen. She was also scared of the potty but sometimes she would go in the small potty every now and then. But now she does it because she gets hot in either her shirt or pants and does take her clothes off.My daughter at three is still not fully potty trained, and no matter how many times i take her to the potty or how many different things i try..

Lol it's one of those stages... my son's was short lived. I figured it's because either they don't like how the clothes are restrictive... you know how active and "on-th-move" they are at this age... or they discovered that they have the ability. Clothes... not so much of a problem except in public or if its cold... diaper? well yeah that can be a problem ! Well have patience and have the "big girl" show you how she can put them back on. This may be a good time to potty train (hey at least you already know she can pull her pants down herself). The newness of this newfound ability will eventually wear off and she'll stop.

Duct tape! Kidding of course. It is a phase I hear(I hope!) My daughter takes off her diaper and clothes if she can. we try to keep her in pants or onesies that snap at the crotch to keep her from getting to her diaper. My cousin's kid takes off his clothes and uses what is in his diaper to do some ....artwork.. on the walls. So far our daughter just undresses. THANK GOODNESS!

my son is 17 months and does the same thing. I tried everything, onesis, overalls...duct taping the straps lol..the above helps but I have really noticed a change since I allow him to strip himself down and run around right before his bath..I have told him it's naked time and this is the only time mommy wants you doing it until you can pee on the potty. If he goes to do it during the day I tell him no it's not bathtime yet and he leaves it alone. It`s been working so far..good luck

some kids and babies just like to be naked. they don't have an understanding of naked is not always okay yet. If its not a potty issue the kid just wants to be naked

Oh goodness she just started?lol Mine started doing it at 6months old.Causes all sorts of havoc around my house because I have two other kids to deal with too.She is 17months old now and constantly does it.I suggest popping her hands and telling her no.Seems to work for at least a couple of hours.Or maybe go ahead and try to potty train her.
