my little man gets a rash that covers his back and front every time he gets a virus, it's known as a non-specific viral rash, so if ur little one is slightly under the weather this could be it! the rash isnt the virus it's just caused by the virus, it's something to do with the capillaries under the skin. x

My youngest has SUPER sensitive skin, if we change detergents, fabric softeners, soaps, diapers, ANYTHING. He breaks out in a rash. It eventually goes away but we have resorted to using hypoallergenic everything. lol. Either way you need to take him to the doctor.

Does his skin feel clamy or sticky when you touch him? If it does then it might be a heat rash, strip him naked diaper to put him on a towel and leave him be for a while. Let the air get at his skin, might help. My daughter gets a little rash every now and then, that's what we do to help it.

If it's getting hot where you live....it could be a heat rash. Strip him down to his diaper, wipe him down with cool water and let a light breeze get to him

my daughter broke out in hives and it sounds just like what you are describing. she would break out everytime she would get an ear infection but it took her a couple of days to finally complain about her ear so it may be hives or like the others have said it may be a new food or something. hope this helps and he gets better!

Could be some of the baby food. Where I lived the weather has been some what hot and my little one tends to have heat bumps. Other times he was just breaking out on his tummy n back. So I took him to the doctor and he prescribed some hydrocortisone cream and it worked. If it is like heat rashes then I recommend you keep him nice and cool, oh and rub some medicated baby powder with aloe and vitamin E on him. Hope he gets better...

Does he cry a lot? My son had that and the doctor said it was from crying. It went away when we started giving him Karo Syrup.

Allergies or my daughter got something like that, it was from a shot she got at the doctors but don't remember what shot it was.

he's 6 months old on May 2nd and already has 2 teeth ( thought it might be this). He's not around ivy but what is poison oak? He's been eating fruits and veg now for lunch but nothing recently new..........no fever, normal and happy as ever. The rash are sporadic white, non-fluid filled, bumps with a red border. I thought looked like hives......

How old is your son? Is he been eating any new foods? Are you near Poison oak or ivy?

Does he have a fever?
