i got daughter potty trained after her 2nd birthday.she got big girl panties for her birthday. i used money for every time she went she would get one coin. then i started using stickers, and when she went i would but one on a calendar and she would get one. And with in 2-3 months she was doing it all by herself. she still needs to be reminded of when to go sometime.

what alot of moms of boys i know did is put cherrios or fruit loops in the potty just a few and told the boy to sink them when he goes potty.. being boys they loved the idea and was potty trained in about 2 to 3 months...

best thing is to go straight to pants, dont bother with pull ups cause they are so confusing, dont give your self a dead line, just spend time at home and keep asking him to sit on the potty, you need that one fluke wee on there and he will soon understand, give him lots of praise and dont worry about the accidents cause then he will too, try to make it fun with a sticker chart for every wee and pants with his fav character on, hope this helps x
