He may have started to recognize people but if he doesn't see that person for more than 2 days that he won't recognize them. People have to be around the baby a lot for him to recognize them this early.

It is called "making strange". Very normal. It will pass with time :)

it is natural but this stage will pass ;) it is just that he feels comfortable with these people and secure. my daughter wouldnt let me leave the room andscream if males walked in whe she was small and this lasted for about 7 months now she is still skeptical of som bigger males but overall she open up within 15 mins. you can try leaving him with other people for like 10 mins at a time so he sees you leave and come back to him.. then he learns that you are not leaving him and can trust you ;)

Indeed! because at the very young age, babies could feel a parent's warm hug & touch (specially the mom) including the heartbeat =) and they could smell their mommies ofcourse =) because of our milks! =) they start to identify e.g. the voice (if they like it they will be comfy or sometimes if they heard a big voice or eeky songs they'll cry and cry) their minds are sooooooo active!

that's about the age my son started being "shy" with people - during that month my husband worked nights so my son and i were stuck home every evening by ourselves as we only have one car. after that month when my husband returned to dayshifts my son was shy when anyone other then my husband or myself held him because he wasn't used to being around people anymore. we began taking him to visit a couple times a week or took him shopping so he would get used to being around people again and now he's not so bad anymore. good luck!

Yeah he probably has I think from even earlier aswell they are pretty smart and they get used to people and how u, his dad or whoever is close to him may hold him or interact with him. He probably just cries because someone different is unfamiliar and he's not comfortable with that totally normal :)
