My son was born with hypospadeous, starting potty training need some help!

My son had surgery when he was 15 months for hypospadeous, i am now starting potty training and he is having a hard time making sure his penis stays down as he does not like anybody (including himself) touching it, cleaning it or anything, he is 2 1/2 and i was just wondering if anyone else out there had trouble with their little men???

You can have him sit backwards on the potty. This has worked wonders for my son.

try getting him the toilet seat with the ladder and letting him stand also theres a pot sort of thing that u can buy that hangs from the toilet especially for those little men who cant quite reach, my 4 year old was the same we put a stool infront of the toilet so he didnt have to sit
