I haven't gotten here yet, but my neighbor did this kinda stuff with my oldest when he was a baby and my oldest does these kind of things with his little brother...If we get excited that the baby starts crawling then the older one starts doing this and expects praise..."look I can walk too..." Wondering how come no one is giving them props for thier excellent work... When my son was potty trained for a few months, accident free, and then started having accidents because he got too lazy to stop playing video games or something? I would punish him...I warned him that he would get 2 spankings if he had an accident, made something of a game for staying accident free...He was into Little Einsteins so his mission was to be accident free and every time he used the potty he got congratulations and when he didn't he was warned of his punishment and he got his 2 spankings...He would know when he did bad, a few times he would say he needed 5 spankings, and I gave them to him...they were little swats, nothing hard... just a small reprimand. I only gave him his requested 5 like twice and stuck with my 2 for pee & 3 for poo. Good luck!

I was going to say exactly what Jenn said. She probably wants the attention, so figures she should do what the younger one does. With my daughter, she started peeing her pants after being potty trained for over a year, and we made a calendar she could put stickers on for each day she was dry. When she got a whole week, she got a special treat. It took a while, and a lot of consistency, but it worked.

It sounds like she's using that as an attention grabber. If you are in the process of potty training the other girl, she might feel left out and want the same attention the two year old is getting. Get your 3 year old involved in helping to potty train the other one by saying things like, "Your big sister pees in the potty! That might help her get the attention she wants while making her know she needs to use the potty.

try to talk to her about why, it's possible she feels she's missing out on something when she sees the 2 year old getting potty trained. also be firm with her, make it clear that pee is for the potty, and not in the pants.
