My oldest daughter's name is Sariah. I always thought it suited her perfectly, until I found out the meaning! Sariah means Princess! That is too far from the truth for my daughter!

I named my daughter Sana, its second on the Pakistani list, meaning; brillerent, & magestic. I would normally base your childs name on ur culture/heritage, or language. If u like it use it very common in Pakistan, not anywhere else, to my knowledge.

Well, my name is Shana-Lynn (Shay na) and I love it. I've never met anyone else with that name. I also really like Soraya pronounced So-ray-a not So-rye-a. Good luck!

My sis-in-law named her daughter Sarai (pronounced Sa-Rye) which is a variation of Sarah meaning princess. The name being passed down in the family was Sarah but she wanted something less common. I think it's beautiful!

I met a girl who named her daughter Sativa Sunshine. I don't know if it really has a meaning to it. I actually believe someone told me sativa is a name for weed. It's a gorgeous name though. I loved it. There's also Satira. Found that one in a baby book.

My name is Serena and I love it! I have met one or 2 other women (including the woman I was named after!) with my name but the spelling for their names was Sarina so there are 2 different ways! Good luck !

Oh, if you name your daughter Symphony, make sure you spell it like this, or else it will be spelt wrong and it might end up kind of a joke.... My cousin named her daughter Sisely also, which is an old italian name (purposfully not spelled like the island (Sicily).
