Hey!!! I've been a SAHM for about 3 and a half years now and I live in the middle of nowhere in Georgia....about 20 -30 miles south of Augusta...about 2 hours north of Sav! I am 26 with a 3 y/o little boy. I am also a single mother!

Jessica, i know the feeling. After I had my daughter i had to go back to work when she was a year old and someone else got to raise her, now with my son i dont have a choice but to stay home. (you all know that is a full time unpaid job) lol. I now have a 13yo step son, two 6yo daughters, one mine one step, only 4 months apart in age (thats not easy) and a 3yo son. I am also a caregiver for my 86yo grandma. So no time for me, and not much time for friends lol

I do but it gets stressful doing it alone. But I have a lot of help and I'm thankfull for that!
Have you tried something like a play group or library hour? My town offeres them and when I was a sahm and did in home day care those were helpful with both the kids and connecting with mommie friends!

I'm a part time working mom. I got one week day off which I enjoy vollentering at my daughters school. My other days off are saturday and Sunday. But I like the week day better. Gives me the feel of being a stay at home mom. I only work four hoursba day. I wish I could be sahm but it just isnt in my budget. Single mom.
