Need help making a serious decision..

My son has torticollis and he just turned a year old and it isn't all the way gone. He has complete range of motion and is only about 15 degrees off from completely straight. He has been going to Physical therapy since he was 3 months old and has improved A LOT. But he hasnt made any improvement in the last 2 months and they want to inject botox into his neck to loose up the mucsle for streching.. Botox is not FDA approved and its has some serious risks.. I am really torn here. I wish I knew the right answer. If there are any mothers out there that know anything about this or have had children in the same position, your comments would be grreatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi Sarah. I did a search to see if there were any groups here on CoMs for mothers of children w/Torticollis. I found 3 groups, but they all seem pretty stale...

This group had 18 members but had a post as recent as Aug.

This group had the most members @ 40 but their last post was July...

and this group has only 9 members w/the last post being Mar...

I relay this information so that maybe if you can't get hits in conversations you may review past posts and send some personal messages???? Good luck!
