Need help picking a name badly!!!

Have a theme...like nature, or cars...mercedese, nova, rogue....ash, bitch, river, cedar, or try jobs...arccher, cooper, mason, hunter....or flowers.....iris,lily, daisy, ..lots ofeasy discriptive words that are different but not too crazy. Unless crazy is a bit what you arelooking for...then id totally go with a weekday name...like tuesday...tuesday is always a good day.lol

I liked the names Emerson (Emmie for short) and Delilah but the only name my husband and I could agree on was Delaney (Laney) I have 2 other girls from my previous marriage Natalie Marie and Madison Grace.

Hi there, congratz. My favourite name for a girl at the moment is Rylee followed closely by Rory, Haylee and Hannah. I quite like unisex names for girls but thats just me. I like Cooper too. Some less common names that aren't too far out ther are: Kaziah, Zaryah, Brylee, Amalee best of luck

I had the same problem when i was pregnant with our daughter...but we finally named her Mattie Justine...her daddy's name is Mathew and we used to call him Matty...so we finally decided to go with that name because its unique and spelt different... and its not short for anything :]

I have a baby name book that suggests using a 3 syllable first name with a 1 syllable last name, so that is what we did. We named our daughter Julia Anne Gloy. We also wanted an easy name to spell and pronounce, but not too common. I also like Natalie, Caroline, Genevieve, and Christina. Also, we didn't name our daughter until she was 4 days old...we just couldn't decide on a first name.

Try combining two common names to make a new unique one. For example my son's name Ayvin is a combination of the names Avery and Aiden. So for a girl try something maybe like ... well i can't think of one right now at the top of my head. but hopefully you get the point ^_^;

I know exactly how you feel. I wanted my kids to have uncommon names, being that my name is JENNIFER. How boring. In school there was always another Jennifer in my class so we would have to be called by our last names. I HATED it.I didn't want the same to happen to my kids. So I recently had a baby girl and her name is Temprance Jade. I also have a little boy his name is Rowen James. I also like the name Sylvia and Olivia (not as original but still cute). Hope I'm not too late lol

I didn't have a chance to read everyone's response, but I'll give you my pick - My daughter's name is Kennedy so of course Kennedy Marie Carr would be a nice name, I also like the name Kendall too, which has a nice ring Kendall Marie Carr. If I were to have another daughter, (which I'm not planning to have more kids) I'd name her Langston, so Langston Marie Carr would be another option. I picked my daughter's name years before I had her, (I didn't really give my husband much choice, but he liked it too) but our son's name, we just decided for sure at the hospital. To me it seems boys names are harder. Good luck and let us know what you decide!

Hi there,its so hard picking a name for your lil one!! me and my partner had narrowed it down to 2 names and we didnt use either,once i had her she didnt look like the names we had picked and we called her Chloe Anne,i think once you have your lil one you will look at her and know the perfect name,and it will all come together for you,good luck and you will have to let us know what you named your lil one once you have her.

Hey! I read over everyone's replys and I have to agree I really like the name Kloee It is so cute, while it is different it is becoming a little more popular. I named my baby BryLeigh Jeneal. It's funny how you mix up the spelling and it can make you love it or hate it. A few of the ones I was set on during my pregnancy were Kiarra, Jamison, and Addison. You will know when you see her the name will just fit her. Hope this helps. Good Luck!

When you see her it might just come to you. My 3 week old son didn't have a name til 5mins after he was born - we just looked at him and said "your name's Harry!". So try not to stress, we were the same, going backwards and forwards and not liking what the other had picked for about 5 months! xxx

P.S. I like the name Penny for a girl if that's any help!

I used traitional nemes for my boys (james and alexander). everyone these days is looking for something so different and unique, but often end up using the same 'unique' ones as everyone else. i have only met one other alex and two other james in the last four years. the traditional names just aren't that common anymore.

The meaning of the name is important. I wouldn't want to name my child something that meant dump. There is no reason not to meet her before knowing her full name. You could call her Marie until you settle on her first name. I think April would sound nice, although it may be too common for your taste.

well, we had a hard time finding a name for our daughter too! what the heck goes with Mussell??? we knew when she was born her name would be Caitlin. Caitlin marie Mussell. I had a boys name picked out too, 6 yrs later we had Nathan james Mussell! pronounced mus sell- not muscle lol! you will know whe she gets here! I also liked jocelyn, and natalie, but as soon as we saw her it was caitlin all the way! Good luck- keep us informed!

I have 4 kids and w/ both my daughters I couldn't finalize a name until they were born and in my arms. Naming a child is one of the hardest tasks in being a parent. Everything else comes easy. Here are some suggestions.

well i have a little boy and when i was pregnant with him we decided on a name for both sexes just in case! we had Peyton Avery picked out for a girl but i also LOVE boy names for girls....Tyler, Shawn, Cooper, Charlie...etc hope that helps! o yea you could also go to mothers/grandmothers maiden names and make something from that..my grandmothers maiden name was Kennedy and that was also a girl name option!

The right name will come to you when you see her! I was hoping for a girl but I have 2 boys! If I had a girl I was going to name them Naysa, Rinnai, Skye, or Cierra. I like eccentric names... thats why I have a Jeren and a Nicolai! Good Luck!
