Need help with a set of rules for a 3 1/2 yr old

I'm a mother of a 3 1/2 year old. His father and I are not together and we currently have different rules for the 2 different households. I want to get together one set of rules that are followed at both houses.
I want to be as fair as possible on the rules and not expect anything extreme or anything too mild either. So ... What are your rules for that age group?

I would say that you and your ex need to take some time sit down and talk about the rules you each have and see what you are both willing to change. I know from expeirence that having different rules is very hard and confusing on the child. Work with each other for a set of rules that works for both homes. Try to meet in the middle even if you don't like the rules for more stability for your son.
