Im currently bottle/formula feeding and reaaalllyyy want to breast feed. However, im not sure how to start getting my milk to come in. I have tried fenugreek, which is supposed to help increase milk supply, like crazy and its not doing anything. Any takers?!

http://www.kellymom.com/bf/supply/relact... Here's a good starting point. From your profile I am guessing your baby is 6ish weeks old, so start pumping and putting her to the breast right away. Good luck, breastfeeding is one of if not the most rewarding things I have ever done in my life.

Pump! And let your baby attempt to nurse. Those are really the best way to get your milk supply up.

try to find a leahy group near you. They are lactation consultants and often make home visits. They were a great help to me with my pre-term baby.

I would suggest just starting to latch your baby onto your breast even if you haven't begun lactating yet. Your baby suckling will trigger your body to begin producing milk!! I can tell you that breastfeeding has been the single best experience for my daughter and I! You will be able to look back and be proud that you gave her the best start possible!! Even just wanting to attempt it, whether it works out or not, makes you an amazing mother! Good luck!

How old is your baby? If more than a few days, you're probably going to have to relactate. You could google the how-to, but you should probably talk to a good lactation consultant.

Can I just say GO YOU! haha Breastfeeding is the best thing you can do for your baby.
