Ok, tell me your opinion.... do you think its right to tell your husband everything?! Example- I was telling my best friend about some problems I was having with my husband...things were fine...then come to find out, she told her husband and he threw it back in my face and made a nasty comment to me ( we are all close friends).

I just think its wrong to have "girl talk" and not trust her to keep it to herself, even if you tell your husband everything.

I haven't talked to her or her husband for 3 days since this has happened, because part of me lost her trust.

What do you think?

Yeah, I tell my husband pretty much everything too, unless told to do otherwise. I assume that when people tell me things, they know I will tell my hubby. But, that doesn't make it right for people to throw things back in your face. We all say things out of anger or when we're just plain bitching that we don't really mean.

i share absolutely everything with my husband. but, my husband knows that what ever i say, stays between him and I. I think that may be something you should discuss with your friend. Some relationships are different than others. understanding that of her would be good for your friendship. Just explain to her that everything you share together you don't expect to hear it coming from her husbands mouth. If she wants to share, then fine, but keep it to themselves. I dunno, i share everything with my hubby, but he knows when to keep his mouth shut and when not too.

I agree with Emily. I tell my husband pretty much everything, but then again there are things that is common sense to know it's just between the girls. I don't tell him EVERYTHING and like Emily said...if they specifically say don't, I definitely don't. There's times when you don't need telling too. At least now you know your limitations with this person. I wouldn't tell them anything you don't want someone else to know :(

I share almost everything with my husband unless someone specifically tells me, "Don't tell anyone." for something really private whenever I am having girl talk I make sure to say, "Don't tell anyone even your husband!" the last thing I want is someone's husband knowing about my latest gyno visit or ingrown armpit hair.
