I'm just curious to know at how many weeks moms have started nesting and how soon thereafter, they went into labor.

Im only 23 weeks pregnant and already nesting...cleaning everywhere and actually enjoying it. Is this normal or a sign of early labour. I went 35weeks with first. Bit concerned!! :)

No kidding, I did the day before I went into labor and so did my husband. It was wierd. It was a sunday and he cleaned out our car inside and out and put the carseat in the car. I was about 38 1/2 weeks along. I got out all the baby stuff like the clothes, lotions, soaps, blankets, everything. It was kinda last minute but I figured I had about another week. I just felt the urge to get it all done that day. well, 4am my water broke. :) I had her at 2:08pm:) At least everything got done.:)

Well, I LITERALLY worked through my whole pregnancy (my water broke 3 hours before the end of my last shift). I've always kept the house pretty clean and organized and I had no urge to do anything extra until about a week before she was born (which was 9 days early) so I sat in the car with Armoral wipes and scrubbed down the interior which I rarely do...and it wasn't just an urge, it was an all out panic attack! I ran through Zellers that same day making sure I had all the little things too ie. thermometer, nasal aspirator, etc. etc. and blew about $200.

I had a nesting urge for about 2 weeks - a month before I went into labor. Then on the day my water broke - I got home from work and started cleaning like a mad woman and my water broke 30 minutes later!

I had a nesting urge the same day by daughter was born. I cleaned the house from top to bottom and the minute I sat down to rest, my water broke! She was born 5 hours later.

I never really nested. Early on in my second trimester I had the urge to decorate the house becuase I was full of energy that I hadn't had in a while. I had my daughter 2 days before her due date.

I didn't nest but I wish I did! I didn't have the energy to clean my house, even vacuuming my house took 2 days (one day downstairs, one day upstairs) i worked all through my pregnancy and left 3 weeks before my due date but bubs came 2.5 weeks early so only ended up having 4 days off work!

I didn't nest, the closest I came was in the second trimester when I had energy. I gave birth at 42 weeks exactly.

I started nesting at about 7 months, and I started my first contractions and went into labor 9 days before my daughter was born, which was almost 2 weeks after my due date.

I did not have a nesting urge, the only time I had something like a nesting urge was when I was angry at my husband I cleaned my home from top to bottom haa. also I only went into labor when I was induced 10 days after my due date.
