What nickname do you have for your kids or had when they were babies?

I find it funny when I hear nicknames for babies and kids. This is the God's honest truth, I have a friend who's son name was Nicholas and his mom gave him her last name which happened to be Knack so His nickname is Nick Knack.

Either way, my twins nick names were "Toggie Wuggles" (I have NO idea where that came from lol!!!) "Punkie, Punkin, and few others I can't remember.

My youngest son's nickname is "Little Love Love" or just "Love Love", I also call him "Boogie Bear, Boog Boog, Dennis the Menance and Goldie Locks." He is a RIOT!!!

I have 2 sons, and they have had so many nicknames, I can't remember them all. Grandparents called them Bird, Button, Lover, Nanny's Man or Poppy's Man, others too.
My oldest, Jonas, called himself Jono and it stuck, to this day. We call him Handsome and the younger one Gorgeous. My kids are going to have big heads when they get older!! lol. My youngest is named Godfrey, so shortened we call him Goff. He's also Stinky, Turd, Fart, Tubby, Chunk and Stinky Bum. There are way too many to remember at the moment. But when we call them by one of the names, they come running with a huge smile on their adorable faces and know that it's just an affectionate thing! :)

My daughter's name is Tempest. I still haven't figured out how to get a nickname from that so if anybody has any ideas I'd really appreciate it! I got her doodlebug or oodle doodle. Of course my husband calls her daddy's girl. My mom and step dad call her Little Chicken or just chicken cuz when she was born and for about the first 3 months she had lots of hair but it stuck straight up in the back. My daddy calls her Poppy's princess.
When I was little my mom called me tootsie or bug and my daddy called me stinky or bobbi. Bobbi is what stuck thank God. I got that cuz we used to watch QuickDraw McGraw and Little Bobbalouie. on tv together. So that's how I got Bobbi. He stills calls me that to this day and I know if he calls me by my real name he's mad at me.

My son's name is Charles, so naturally we call him Charlie. But, he's also known as Chuck, C-Bones, Cowboy, Chuckles, Chuckle-berry(like Huckleberry), sometimes we say "Charles" like we're brittish... It's a fun name to play around with. Oh, plus his middle name is Xavier, Charles Xavier, which happens to be the name of a guy on X-men (unintentional cooincidence) so my brother calls him Professor X.

My oldest who is now 8 had the nick name Squeaks (she used to make a squeaky noise while she slept) now she has shortened her name to Maddy (full name Madison)

My middle daughter is 4, she was called Toadie (no real reason) also Kenzer (full name Mackenzie).

My youngest daughter is 3, because she is only 15 months younger than my middle daughter who could not pronounce Morgan she is called Morgie or Morgs.

I love nicknames, I never had one until I met my husband.....

My daughter's name is Savannah and we don't really care for Vannah as a nick name so we have a few little nicknames that we've called her by. We mostly call her Bo or Boo-Boo and also Booga-Booga-Boo and its cute to hear her say it (she 17 months). Her godmother nicknamed her Savvy. We usually just call her by her name or when she's in trouble it's Savannah Kelly.

teehee my sister was called boo bear when she was young! then one day he got in a fight and i called her larry! her name is laryssa and some times i will still call her larry but its all for fun! lol

I love all the nicknames they are adorable. My son's name is Josiah and I hate that people always call him Jo or even worse Jojo. I call him sweet pea, baby boy, siah. When he was first born he was 5 pounds and everyone called him little peanut even when the dr. first pulled him out the first thing he said was what a little peanut. The one I use the most is Sweet pea though

My Dad always called me Puddin when I was a child and the it shortened to P. Angel which I hated because I thought my friends would thing it had to do with wetting the bed or something instead of short for Puddin lol. To this day he writes on all my Christmas Presents To:Puddin or To: P Angel lol I love it now I have actually promised my Dad to get a Tattoo that says Puddin he's pretty excited about it and he hates tattoos! For my little one right now I call him/her (still pregnant wont know boy or Girl till Friday!) My little Sea Monkey.

nick names stick, my dad still calls me widgey woo and mum still calls me emmy-lou. When my son Lachlan was born I knew he would be nicknamed Lachy, but for some reason 'rabbit' stuck coz he is like that rabbit on the ads about duracel batteries, always on the go (he is very very busy). When he is naughty or grumpy I generaly call him Gremlin or Munchkin.

While pregnant with my daughter Matilda, we did not find out the sex so my husband named her Gertie which I didn't like at first but got used to. During the pregnancy a few people commented that the name would stick and thankfully it hasn't. LOL! Matilda now gets from my husband and I, 'lil chicken', princess, gorgeous girl, sweetheart, Tilda and whatever really comes to mind at the time. Its nice to have a nickname for her. I hope she likes them when she grows up. I shall be mindful when she hits the teen years though! When I was young my brother couldn't say my name so he called me Kiki and that has stuck to this day but has been shortened to Kik - by all my family members!

My 4 year old daughter's name is Mona, so she has a lot of nicknames, most common one used is Momo, others are Miss Mona, Miss Mo, and just Mo.

My 1 year old son's name is Gavin and whenever I'd talk to my sister online shortly after I had him, we'd just type G to same time, and since then, I sometimes still call him G when I talk to him or about him. I'm sure more variations of that will come up, hehe.

My son was called Little Man, Little Warrior, Booger Butt, or Stink Butt.
My daughter has been called Baby Girl, Princess, Sweet Pea, and Stink Butt.

Well I have had several for my girls...

My oldest Angela was only 6 lbs when she was born and came home only weighing 5 something so she was so small premie diapers were big on her..my mom used to call me munchkin so she started caller her that only I told her she was too small to be a munchkin and we started calling her munchie. I also called her little bird because she was scrawnier than most chickens that you could buy and she opened her mouth like a little bird in a nest looking for food. Now I just call her stinky-have no idea why but its funny and makes her laugh

My youngest has had a million nicknames... but the one that stuck the most was Squishy. When my oldest was born she liked to stretch out and didn't curl up like most newborns do so my youngest did what typical newborns do curl up in a ball and my cousin said aww she is so squishy. So we nicknamed her squishy and that is what we both call her most of the time.

My Dad also has a strange sense of humor and he named both of my children Before they were born and that is what he calls them all the time. --If you don't get a nickname or some other name from him it means he doesn't like you.

so my oldest Angela he named Edwina Bernice

and my youngest Riley he named Dagmar Hortence

he's has a strange sense of humor and he writes those names on all their cards and gifts. He had wanted to name my brother Hammish when my mom was pregnant and still calls him that even though its not his name. He even bought Angela a book about Edwina the dinosaur.
