i never need to use nursing pads, but i did have some that were made of cloth, might be something to try if you can't find any you like. they wash and dry really fast, so you could probably get way with only having 2/3 pair.

Another vote for lansinoh....terrible for the environment, terrible for your finances but HEAVEN for you!!!

O i really loved the playtex ones they totally kept me dry and they hold a lot of milk from what ive experienced. Ive tried like 5 different kinds and those are the ones i stayed with.

I also like the lansinoh ones that are in a purple box. I like the ones that are plastic on one side and have a sticky spot so they don't move.

What I did was I took clean birb cloths and cut them into squares and used that, it cost no money and I could reuse them after I washed them. Just my two cents

I used the Gerber ones, they were OK. Although the hospital had given me some and they had a sticky back on them that kept them in place I really liked those... I'm sure they were probably those Lansinoh ones..

I have a 6 month old and I still pretty much have to wear nursing pads 24hrs a day. I have tried alot of brands and I have to agree with Veronica and Cecilia; I liked the Lansinoh ones the best. Johnsons are the awful, they arent very absorbent and are very visable under some shirts. Medela (i think thats how you spell it) aren't too bad either. Hope that helps!! Good luck.

I loved the johnson brand, and I even had the cotton ones made by Kushies. The pnly problem was I had to double up after I washed them alot. I agree, didn't like the gerber pads at all, waste of time!

There are different kinds of gerber ones. I buy the ones that come in heavy,medium or low flow. (I still use the heavy flow ones) My hubby did not realize the options when he got to the store for me one day and bought me the gerber ultra thin ones. Those things are so stupid. The sides aren't even closed so unless you don't leak there is no point in wearing them! Plus if you don't why buy anything? I leak a lot, even now (baby is 10 weeks), and the time I did wear them I went through two bras before I made him go back to the store and get the right ones. They are large enough and flat enough you don't notice your wearing them. They've never stuck to me and I have never been able to leak through them.
Johnson to Johnson ones are stupid too. There these tiny little things that are so thick that unless you wear baggy clothes all the time you can see them.

Hi, I completely understand your problem. I primarily breastfed my daughter and I could never find nursing pads that "worked." It seemed to me that even with the pads in place properly I was always leaking through them and then there were ones that would never stay in place. Although I do have to agree with Cecilla, the lansinoh brand weren't that bad. They do have a sticky strip that helps to keep them in place...somewhat. If you happen to find any that work really well please let me know as I am pregnant again and will soon be faced with this problem all over again. Good Luck

i agree with cecilia and verinica. they are the ones that I use. I tryed the johnsons ones and the ripped skin off me OUCH!! so i stick to the lansinoh ones.

Lanisoh (i think its called) is pricier, but always worked great -- make sure you get the thicker ones --but that one i particularly like cause you couldnt see it through the shirt, and it absorbed very good -- make sure you change them often too so cause bacteria can grow and cause infections,etc. (especially yeast) and so you dont leak either, after awhile your milk will regulate out where you wont leak as bad. I hope i helped (evenflo is another good one too)

i loved the lansinoh brand, they come in a purple box and are a great price! i hated the gerber ones!!!!! what a waste of money! good luck!
