Please help me is it possible to have a positive test and then get a period?

I have a quick question i was supposed to start my period on the 15th of June but I didn't since then I've taken 6 pregnancy tests and 1 came back positive, the positive is very faint but visible. (the positive was the 4th test and I took in the morning yesterday july 22) later that day I took another one to make extra sure and it was negative and then around 4pm I started what i think is my period. Around seven I took the sixth test and that one is also negative but I still am hoping the positive was not a false positive but then if it's not a false negative why am I on my period?

With implantation bleeding it should not be heavy, that would be a bad sign. I would go into the clinic and have them do a blood test to see. While pregnancy tests these days are really accurate, it is still possible to get false positives, especially if 5 out of 6 said negative. Good luck!

I agree. Test in the morning and only in the morning. Also if you can... Use a digital read test. That way it will say pregnant or not and you are trying to check out a slight color change. But there is a thing called implantation bleeding. Best of luck!! Then schedule an appt with your obgyn. :)

You can have what looks like a period and this is implantation bleeding. It is normally light and does not contain clots. The only way to tell is to go to the doctors and either have a blood test or have an internal. Normally you do not get a false positive. The negative tests may be down to the pregnancy being to early to sence. Always use the first pee of the day as that has been sat int he bladder all night and contains the most hormones.

I had implantation bleeding with my daughter it lasts normally two days. I also registered as not pregnant with all three of my kids until 6 weeks plus.
