i would say try to potty train her if you are ready, i started potty trainin my lil boy 22 months and hes now 2 years and 3 weeks old and fully dry through day, i started letting him run round the house just with a t-shirt on and takin him to the toilet/potty every 30 mins and if he did sum thing in the potty i was praise him and show him i was very happy with him but put a nappy on when i went out of the house i did this for 3 week, then once he was dry in the house i started taking him out with no nappy on and just putting him on a toilet everytime i was near one, then after abart 3 week he started telling me when he needs to go, i think if you do this and ask he/she if he/she needs a wee or poo everytime you take her to the toilet/potty she will learn to tel you when he/she needs to go

my daughter has trained herself. the only thing that i have to do is hide the diapers cause she tries to wear them just so that she doesnt have to sit on the potty. but when she is not wearing a diaper she will sit on the toilet when she has to go with no problem, then she will take the small potty to the toilet and put the pee in the toilet and flush and put hers back.
I just tried mine, our daughter at 18 mnth, bought the potty and said do wee wee, and she went, first time, then squatted next to it and pooped! lol so at this age they understand more than they say! try iy but u gotta hav it in the same place and put her on same time every day, before bath time and when she gets up in morning, she'll get used to it!
