Potty Training

I know every child is different but I am having the most difficult time with my daughter. We have good days that she'll go on her potty numerious times, then we have bad days that she'll scream and cry at just the sight of her potty. She's 2 yrs old and i'm hoping to get her out of pull ups before our second baby arrives in Jan. I have stickers and a Potty chart and she gets some kind of candy when she does go. I have left her run around naked and wear only big girl panties. Mommy even does a potty dance with her :) Anybody have any other suggestions that might help?

Jackie is right especially in regards to very young siblings seeing their baby sibling(s) in diapers/getting diaper changes. Our son is 22 months, he was 19months when our daughter was born, and he was very enthusiastic about sitting on the potty (although he rarely actually did anything, it was a good start) then when we brought baby sister home and he saw her getting diaper changes he very quickly changed his tune about sitting on the potty. It has just been in the last week or so that he has been even semi interested in sitting on the potty again. Patience patience patience!! And you know what they say, if at first you don't succeed.. =)

She may just not be ready. My son is 3 and we just got him potty trained a few weeks ago. We did the candy, dancing, clapping, cheering, and even begging. The sad thing is that regardless of wether or not she gets potty trained by then most kids will revert back to diapers when they see their little brother or sister in them. They dont understand the age difference they just see the baby getting more attention and they think that a diaper change will get it for them.
