I have a three year old little girl, she is potty trained far as the daytime goes but at night she still has to wear a diaper or pull up.. Anyone have any suggestions on how I get her potty trained at night?

Hello Kimberly.. I cut my 2 daughters off of any liquid around 6pm case they usually went to bed around 8pm and they only had a couple of accidents and they just took right on.. My son on the other hand, he's alot harder, we put the night time pull ups on him cause he would have a flood in his bed.. All kids are diferent and some take longer than others.. i had to get into a routine, with no driks after a certain time, and to pee right before bed, and when i wake, i would wake him up to go pee, and it got him use to getting up when he had the urge....

I have a 3 yo girl and I don't push the potty training at night, but if you want somewhere to start you could limit drinks after a certain time (like 1 1/2 - 2 hours before bedtime.)

With my son I just told him that if he has to go potty he needs to wake up and come get me. I then also made a big deal about it when he woke up dry. I didn't try to train him at night until he woke up dry most nights. That told me that he could hold it that long. I have friends who their girls are 4 and almost 5 and they still wear pull ups at night. It is perfectly normal for night training to take a long time! Good luck
