My daughter Lola will be 2 April 27th. She started showing interest in potty training about a year ago..we have slowly changed over to pulls ups. She stays dry most nights and goes pee in the potty most of the day..but not poop! Should I try panties so if she poops in them it really feels gross? Or give her a little more time?

Hiya, iv been a nursery nurse for 9 years working with 2-3 year olds and I really think you should put her in panties. Im not going to use pull ups for my son because in my experience, they dont work because the child knows that they can still poop in them. Go for the pants and then when she poops, she will realise how bad it feels and hopefully go to the potty next time. Also if she still poops in her pants, keep going with it, dont go back to pull ups, once you have made the decision, stick with it or else she will know that next time she poops in her pants, you will put her a pull up back on and you will get into a vicious circle.

Hope this helps, good luck xxx
