Potty Training Tips for little boys

My boy will be 3 in October and he is no where close. I have tried and tried, the response i always get is a very distinct 'no'... he is just stubborn, give it time and don't force it, it becomes alot harder and may even put him back even further.
I have spoken to lots of people about it, and all of them said have you ever seen a kid go to school in a nappy. and the answer is no.. they do it when they are ready.

my mom used a cheerio with my brother, she said aim at at and he was potty trained in 2 days. she used candy with me. if i went pee i got 1 m&m and if i went #2 i got 2 m&ms. but only do it if he tells you he has to go and actually does go, otherwise it wont work.

i just got done potty training my son he will be 3 next week i tried to initiate the training myself but hes stubborn and dint want to he did the same thing as your son i would put the diaper back on and he would pee in it instead of the potty. so i decided that having him stand to go potty and putting a couple froot loops in the potty and telling him to pee on those would work well it dint with my son but ive heard about the success with other mothers and that method so you could try that or you could try a sticker chart every time he goes potty he gets to put a sticker on that chart and at the end of the week he gets a prize but in my opinion he will start to train when hes ready boys are very stubborn in that way good luck let me know how it goes!
