pre-eclampsia

2 weeks ago i was hospitalized for what was thought to be pre-eclampsia, the doctors said there was no protiene in my urine so it wasnt pre-eclampsia but it could still turn in to it.
ive once again got all the same symptoms, what should i do? im 31 weeks
my aunty had full blown eclampsia with her 2 boys and had to have emergency c sections with both, one was later on in pregnancy, only a week before the due date, the other at 30 weeks.
i know it goes in familys and im scared of losing my baby girl

yeah alot of the same symptoms youve describbed, the swelling of hands feet and face, head aches, pain under ribs, blurred vission but no high blood pressure, ive never ever in my life had high blood pressure.
but still it runs in my family and studies show it can be hereditary.
hmmm worrys me, think i will talk to doctor to morrow.

Bed rest! And talk to your doc about how often they should see you. My blood pressure shot up at 37 weeks. They put me on bed rest and I went in to see my midwife twice a week. I had traces of protein in my urine. They ran all my labs and they were normal. Monitored the baby and he was fine. At 38 weeks they decided to induce me.



Bed rest sucks but it should help keep your blood pressure down. Watch for increased swelling in feet and sudden swelling of face an hands. If your vision gets funny (blurred or shimmering at the edges), you get a severe headache, or you have pains under your ribcage call your doc immediately. You say you have all the same symptoms yet again, do you mean what I've described? I would definitely call your doc. Better safe than sorry.



Of course, I am not a medical professional so you should definitely talk to them about this. I just thought I'd give you my experience.



Try not to stress (I know way easier said than done), because it really doesn't help your blood pressure.
