My daughter is 2 1/2 and will be three next january. My mom told me that i can enroll her in school next year...wont that be too early, i thought they had to be four to get into preschool...im not sure if their is a pre preschool or what???

Where I live there is a preschool for 3 year olds it is head start, also they have special education if you qualify it is free. my 3 1/2 year old wsa accepted because of his speech. and then at 4 they have a prekindergarden class thaqt my older son wnet to. I guess otherwise you have to pay a daycare for their preschool program which you can choose half days 2 - 3 days a week or even 5 depends if you need daycare or are jsut looking for the education portion of it. hope this helps

hi....kayla.your problem is same with me.but i've already thought that education is needed by everyone since they were born. if there are pre pre school....we have to thanx cause our problem to teach will be helped.our kid is on golden age.there........kid can play n accept a lot of positive things.trust to it,our kid will be what we want

my son went 2 a more a pirvate 1 a month after he turned 3. kids had to test into it. it seems to have helped him out alot. he is now going into 2nd grade with some 3rd grade classes. ( i want him to stay with kids his age without holding him back)

I started taking my son to the Strong Start program at the school when he was 4 months old. It's not really a preschool or daycare, as parents are involved and don't just drop the kids off. But it's more of a school type play group aimed towards kids 0-6.

My brothers & I went to preschool for 2 years & started kindergarten when we were 5. It seems young, but that's what our family has done.

A play group would teach you child more than going to school at that age. There is so much learning to to arround the house and at the park! Just keep pointing things out to her durring the day like colors, shapes, letters, draw and read..and she will be off to a fine start..

Pre-school is generally 3-4 years. Then they go to pre-Kindergarten. The Pre-school portion acts as a segue from play all day daycare to more of a school setting so that children are not jolted from one extreme to the next.
