I was wondering if anyone has had bad heart palpitations during pregnancy before?? I just started having them on Friday, then Sunday they were really bad. I went to my Doc Monday morning. They did an EKG and it came back normal. Now they scheduled me for an Echocardiogram on April 13th. The doc wasnt very happy about how long I have to wait for the Echo. I'm really worried about it. Its just one more bad side effect I've had during this prenancy (my 3rd). Has anyone had an Echocardiogram before?

I did, and I also got incredibly breathless doing the simplest things. Not long after, I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes, and as soon as I got it under controll, the other stuff stopped too.

I had some during pregnancy. Can't say they were severe though, and my doctor didnt seem concerned since they werent bothersome to me.

it is actually one of the routine questions at my OB's office.
