i measured big and they had to do extra ultra sounds to figure out why.. i had extra fluid plus i am pretty petite so the baby took up a lot of my body space she was a good size baby too

Have they done any ultrasounds? Are you sure you are not having more than one baby? I measured a few weeks ahead of what I was and my fluid was higher and my daughter was 10lbs 3oz.. Hope everything works out for you!

i always measured big, but when i had my son they said that i had alot of amniotic fluid and my son was 9pounds and 12 ounces, so he was also big, but if your doctor isn't worried than i would say things are ok.....

I am 26 wks and measured 2 weeks ahead of that. My midwife sent me for an ultrasound and they said that it was nothing, probably just a big baby.

hi, i went for my 36 week check up and measured 36 weeks the 2 weeks later i went for my 38 and had jumped up to measuring 42 weeks!!! i got sent for a scan and they said all is well baby is good size just my amniotic fluid level is on the high side. i was reassured if it was anything to worry about they would say. i havent had to go in more often and i am now due on wednesday all they said was when my waters break there will be a lot!!! i am sure you will be fine if you are worried talk to your midwife remember no question is silly everyone has to learn and they are theexperts xx good luck xx

I mea. 2 wks larger then when the tried to mea weight I was about 5 wks larger. No health probs just a bit larger. Baby boy was born according to ob 5 wks early and the peds disagreed and said that he was full term if not a little late. Could your dates be off? If your care provider is not concerned then I would say relax, nature will take it's course. Good Luck
